### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great if you follow the basic

Product worked well on repairing (albeit temporary) on a pressurised water tank. Remove any pressure until the putty is solid (24h) Key is to throughly clean the area with wire brush and wire wool down to bare metal. Preheat the putty with a hair dryer and mix well. Rollout in to worm size and press into the job, continue layering down worm size pieces smoothing together. The puty achieved its cure with the residual heat from the water tank. Next day water pressure turned on and no seepage

On balance I think this is a really good project, I just hate plumbing. It will get you out of a jam with pipes under pressure....just.. but its best to do the job properly in the first place. It says it 'sets under water', I'm not so sure about that. It is very useful in some circumstances and seems to work better when allowed to dry when there is no water around. I used it in two places recently, one good one bad. Good; a hard seal around the big soil pipe on a toilet ; on top of 'plumbers mate'; to give a good hard seal, ready for painting. Bad; a leaking compression joint 15mm, which was under pressure; it was the hot tap on a sink and it struggled. The point is there is far more pressure on the cold side. The water kept finding a way through. I ended up replacing the whole joint. DIY bloke.

USED THIS TO SEAL A WATER LEAK ON WASHING MACHINE HOSE CONNECTION AFTER TRYING NUMEROUS OTHER PRODUCTS.NOT TOO EASY TO MIX THE 2 BITS TOGETHER AND NO INSTRUCTION AS TO HOW MUCH OF EACH TO USE,WE DECIDED HALF AND HALF.WHEN MIXED BY HAND IT BECAME EASY TO APPLY TO PROBLEM JOINT AND AREA.LIKED THE PRICE AS FOUND IT TOO EXPENSIVE ELSEWHERE
