I was unsure whether to buy light/medium but decided to go for light hoping it wouldn't be too pale but it was darker than I thought it would be, so glad I opted for the lighter shade! Seems to give a good even coverage but takes a minute to rub it in properly so it's not patchy. If you already have good skin and are just after something more mattifying than a tinted moisturiser that helps give the appearance of a more even skin tone, then I think you'll be happy. Excellent for the price, and perfect for day time use. Doesn't feel heavy like a normal foundation but does have a tint to it, which is fine for fair skin, but even the 'fair' one would not be suitable for very very pale skin as it would leave you looking slightly orange for sure.
