With the tab, the length is 7" long. These lens covers are made to replace the ones that originally came with a 5-1/2" PVC Well Light that has 1/4" thick walls, 45 degree angle cut top, and DO NOT have the slot along the edge of the lower portion of the angle. If your well light is the P.M. Lighting brand that has the narrow 3/8" wide slot for the tab to slide into, you will need the CS933LN replacement lens cover.
