Review: Easy, economical and amazing!! A true transformation! - This worked better and was much easier than I anticipated!!! It looks amazing!! Tips are:watch all the YouTube videos you can find, tear your sponge, add some color/sparkle with metallic acrylic paints, follow all prep and aftercare instructions, have fun with it! I did mine in 3 sections and am pleased with the ease of cleanup of the materials. Do pay attention to the measurements. You will need extra base and top coat if you have more than 20 linear feet, but should have plenty of minerals.
Review: GREAT PRODUCT! - I am doing a total kitchen remodel, on a pretty tight budget. This product was a lifesaver! When reading through the glowing reviews compared to other products intended to "restore" or "transform" your countertops (*cough* Rustoleum *cough*)- you read those reviews and 98% are horrible. If you want black, textured, beautiful countertops- this is the way to repaint them, right here. I, however, was not interested in a granite look; I just wanted sleek, black countertops instead of the faux-granite, "ground-beef pink" color that was there before. I used step one with a roller and brush combination, skipped step two, and sealed it with two coats of the clear coat step 3. It came out awesome, and I could not possibly be happier! I've included a pic of the results I've achieved using this wonderful product. It really is fool proof. If you do your prep work right, and clean & lightly sand the surface, you cannot go wrong with this awesome product!

## Questions & Answers

**Q: What do you do if the black primer doesnt adhere to counter?**
A: Hi there! Your primer most likely didn't adhere because the surface was not prepped properly. Please contact us directly so that we can help you solve this issue:info@gianigranite.com800-650-5699GIANI INC

**Q: Is the Ironcore primer the same as the primer in the kit?**
A: Hello, there! Yes, this is the same Primer that is included in our kits.

**Q: I am looking for a primer for my laminate cabinets before painting. Will this work?**
A: That is a great question! Our Ironcore primer is not designed for that application. Additionally, I would recommend you look into a white primer specifically designed for cabinetry. I say that as it would be easier to cover up a white than a black primer. If you are interested in our Nuvo cabinet paints, you would not have to prime as the paint has primer in it.

**Q: I need the prime for countertops but I have an existing black countertop on the kitchen bar. Can I sponge paints on it?**
A: I do not know because I did not read anything about using an already painted counter top. If you purchase the kit it comes with all of the different paint parts. I assume that the kit has the kind of paint that you need for durable countertops. However, the clear sealer that goes on last is most important because it is needed for durability so using other type paints might be an option.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Easy to use on granite countertop and please see before and after photos from October 2022
*by M***E on December 24, 2022*

We bought a house that had so much granite in the kitchen but felt badly to take off really good granite. We did the island with an epoxy kit from another company and it is awesome how it came out with different colors. We didn't want to epoxy again as honestly the fumes and the mess was not good especially when one section of the countertop is in levels like the photo as it would drip and we would have to do the process twice (with cats it was not fun to put them in a different room for a week while it cured) I saw this product and thought hmmmm I would honestly be happier if the rest of the kitchen (there's an entire backside that I didn't include photos) was a solid black vs this granite look. I bought these individually - primer, black paint and top coat- as we used $2 acrylic paints from the store to do the rest of the design (and it does help my husband can paint) and I asked him to make it like a river of blue as we have the navy and emerald steel appliances from a major brand and there's a lot of blue and green in our island we epoxy. I also showed him another design for the smaller upstairs countertop that was a laminate that was peeling on the sides. For that one to add some copper and gold and a red color. These are the results and it's lasted so far with cleaning and using it. We don't baby it but we don't put any hot items on it. We use a natural cleaner (no bleach or harsh chemicals) and it's lasted well so far. It didn't cost much and our counterops look great. I also didn't feel badly for tearing out granite that honestly was in great condition. I went on a rabbit hole search of can you paint granite to yes you can!! It costs less than $100 to transform 2 rooms countetops in our home.
