Are we extorting our eco-concious consumers?** A: No idea. In purchases this paper version as an eco friendly option. Willing to pay a bit more but never again because I can’t really travel with it because after several uses the cardboard container bends so can no longer put the top on. **Q: Does this leave white “crumbs” in your armpit?** A: No Native deoderant doesn't usually clump so easily, like that. Only if you apply an "AMPLE" amount of deoderant and have any armpit hairs for the deoderant to adhere to, then yes it might "clump" eventually "leaving white crumbs in your armpits". But I suggest that if you ever need to apply an "AMPLE" amount, more than your usual usage, (i.e., When you need that added protection for extra exertion, stress sweat, or extremely hot days), then apply as much as you need. And rub it into your "hair-free" armpits. Or layer your applications by rubbing the deoderant into your armpits before applying each layer that's needed. * NOTEWORTHY : Even though Native Deoderant provides such EFFECTIVE deoderant protection, I am pleasantly surprised just how easily it washes from my armpits (no matter how much I apply) leaving ABSOLUTELY NO WAXY FILM TO SCRUB CLEAN !! AND NO WAXY FILM LEFT AFTER WASHING MY UNDERARMS !!! So even if it does happen to leave "white crumbs" it washes away easily enough to re-apply a thinner layer ! Also, Native Deoderant is SMOOTH enough to possibly just rub the clumpy crumbs smoothly into your armpits ! ~ Hope this helps ! 😉 **Q: Can this be used anywhere external, like Lume?** A: I have read that Lume is the only deodorant that can be used all over the body. I, however, have been very pleased with Native as an underarm deodorant. This packaging is ridiculous. It is cheap. Opening it for the first time is difficult. Closing it is difficult. Pushing the deodorant up is difficult since it is not a twist up. I keep my deodorant in the bathroom. My bathroom has a lot of moisture guess what happens when paper gets wet? I accidentally knocked over my deodorant in the sink the deodorant packaging got soggy like a paper straw. Now its even harder to put the lid on. I get your trying to help save the plant ( a little to late) and cutting cost on plastic packaging but when it comes to hygienic products and food paper packaging should be avoided. This is what vital proteins collagen did with there packaging now my collagen has a higher risk of tiny bugs like weevils going into it disgusting. Also I feel like the formula has changed or this new packaging is causing my armpits to itch. The first Native Deodorant I purchased was in normal amazing packaging and worked amazing. I thought I had finally found a deodorant for sensitive skin fragrance free NATURAL ingredients. Nope. I finally find something and it gets ruined. For such an EXPENSIVE product it should be in the fanciest packaging instead of the cheapest. Is the paper packaging organic, toxic free? or is it recycled paper toilet? I'm so annoyed from this. I was going to try Native Body lotion, but I will have to pass. I will most likely not repurchase this product again. I will continue to search for a new product that doesn't have paper packaging. The reason I stopped using Sasquatch is because they changed the formula as well and I developed a rash/ itchy arm pits. These companies should listen to their customers but they never will, they don't care.
