I am really struggling as it is a mm out! My technical drawings are suffering. Can this be adjusted?** A: Your best option is to drop the parallel motion to the bottom of the board and then use loosen the brass screws off either end of the straight edge, then you can adjust it so it's level with the bottom of the board and then tighten the screws back up. Don't over tighten the screws as you run the risk of snapping them. It's not easy and the challenge ferndown is an entry level board but that should work and solve your problem **Q: Ive just bought this however the parralell motion bar does not stay in place it merely slips to the bottom, is this meant to happen?** A: Simple answer is no, the parallel motion bar should stay where you put it, with enough stability to support any drawing tools etc that you place upon it. The wires have lost tension and if you cannot adjust the tightness you should request a replacement. Sorry for delay in response, been away. My experience of Blundell Harling's equipment led me to their range of Drawing Boards, from which the A2 Challenge was her choice. She is absolutely delighted with it. It's easy to use, fold and carry. Well constructed and adjustable it has solved the problem of working in an otherwise difficult environment. It arrived quickly and was well packed by the supplier. All in all, a very good buy. ### ⭐⭐ Parallel Motion not flat *by A***R on 1 September 2024* This drawing board was recommended by my daughter’s university and was substantially more expense than the alternatives therefore I was expecting a quality product, unfortunately the parallel motion is slightly wrapped and does not fit tight to the board. This will make using the board difficult. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Well made and works for me. *by K***S on 4 October 2014* I use this regularly and set it up on our dining room table. Its easy to set up and use. (Some reviews say it does not sit in its angle-holder properly and it is true, if you try and use it upside down. Used correctly, it works perfectly.)
