    A must-read book!

I've read a couple books on preventing Alzheimer's, but I found this one especially motivating.  It is a solidly researched book, and it has convinced me of the value of eliminating sugar and refined substances from my diet...maybe this time for good!  The author says Alzheimer's is basically diabetes of the brain.  This is great news, as it seems possible to take control of one's health and drastically reduce the chances of getting this disease.  The only piece of advice I question so far -- I'm only half way through the book -- is consuming the amount of coconut oil suggested.  The ample research he sites is convincing, but my intuition tells me to cook with it, but skip eating it by the tablespoon a couple times a day.

If you follow the instructions in this book it will reverse Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, and MS as well as ALS. Have seen it work! I ordered this copy for my friend to understand how it works and why it works!

So informative! Loved this book and plan to buy a copy for each of my daughters and their families. Not only does it help me to understand Alzheimer's better and how I can best help and support my mom who was recently diagnosed, this book has taught me what can be done proactively to improve my own brain health. Absolutely recommend this book!
