I have had my speaker for around 8 months and it has suddenly become faulty. The sound kept on skipping every so often, even on a full charge of battery. I informed the company direct who responded very quickly. They were so helpful and instructed me to give the order number and they would send a replacement. I sent the request on the 1st June at 1550 hours and I had a replacement on the 3rd June!!! Great customer service Betron.Now, as for the device itself....I bought this based on many other reviews and let me tell you that the majority reviews about the quality of the speaker is true. It is so small, but it packs out a great sound. It is not going to enable you to start discos, but I used it for my daughters 6 year birthday party in a fairly decent sized room, and the sound was clear and loud enough from one end of the room to the other.PROSBluetooth connection works well when the device is paired.Negligible skipping of sound. I advise that if you are entertaining, then using the supplied lead would be somewhat better.Battery life is pretty good in my books. Can get many hours of non stop music on a full charge.Good overall sound. Nice base but can become slightly distorted on the higher volumes. I was expecting a more tinny sound, but it is well balanced with only a hint of "tin."Very discreet, robust with a nice design.Great aftercare serviceCheapCONS:Was susceptible to a fault after 8 months of occasional use. Not sure how it obtained this and whether it was a manufacturing issue or if it was dropped (certainly not to my knowledge was it dropped - I do have two young kids though).Does take a long time to fully charge (not sure how long, but it is a good few hours at least.) To over come this though, I plug it in my PS4 over night when needed. Job done.OVERALL IMPRESSIONS:I would definitely recommend it! If for some reason I could not get my speaker repaired/replaced, I would have bought another one. If you are looking for a more than adequate sound on a low budget, then this is the go to speaker. I use it a lot with my phone when I am listening to music or watching movies whilst chilling or doing chores like the dishes! I would have given it a four stars, but the great aftercare service negates the fault on the speaker.Go buy one now. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Small but punchy! *by R***E on 21 May 2017* It's a great little speaker for straight bluetooth playback. What lets it down slightly is where audio sources are something other than bluetooth.First, the line in for audio is, oddly, also the usb port used for charging the device. It just about works, but watch the volume level on the input source -- if it goes too high, the speaker will either drop out chunks of sound, or just play nothing at all.The inbuilt FM radio works okay, although working out what station you're listening to might take a few minutes and a broadcast station ident. Not that surprising, I guess...The facility for playing MP3s from a little SD card also works but as far as I can tell the playback logic is confined to file order -- so the first file copied to the card plays first and so forth. I'd have liked a bit more control -- maybe a preference for .m3u playlists stored in the root, or a basic randomiser -- because as it is you may as well stick with small cards and ensure you copy files on in the order you want them played back.I also rather dislike the volume of the voice that announces what the audio source is, when you turn it on or change it. But it's over soon enough... :)All that said, the sound quality is excellent for its size, it pairs easily in bluetooth mode and as that's its primary raison d'etre, my criticisms can only be regarded as minor! ### ⭐⭐ Dissappointing - good sound but too many difficulties *by T***T on 15 October 2014* This was disappointing. At first I was impressed by the big sound from such a small box. But I found I couldn't use it as a bluetooth speaker for watching DVDs on my laptop, as the sound lagged behind the picture and so the speaking was out of sync. I tried using it to connect by wire to the laptop and iphone but it was very fiddly trying to get it to switch to that mode (I discovered you have to hold down the play button for a few seconds, but if you do it too long it then switches into a radio!). And when you have it connected by wire, there is a high pitched buzz which is irritating.This would be great if it didn't try to be too many things in one.
