The TV mounted on the bracket is a 48" slim LED type, weighing just under 12kg. The bracket itself is pretty hefty, weighing a couple of kilos at least, with a single articulated cantilever arm extending up to a maximum of about 50cm (20").I had initially tried using more conventional wall plugs - 10mm x 60mm, which were bigger than those originally supplied with the bracket. Although the bracket appeared to be securely fastened to the wall, when I opened the cantilever arm to its full extent and applied some moderate down-force at the end of the arm, the wall plugs began to pull out of the wall. They clearly wouldn't have been able to cope with the weight of the TV with the cantilever arm extended.Fortunately I was able to extract the wall plugs, drill out the holes to 12mm and insert the Rigifix M6 anchors in their place (using 6 anchors in all). This time the re-mounted bracket held fast despite a significant test load applied on the cantilever arm (well in excess of the 12kg imposed by the TV). The anchors have shown no sign of losing their grip over the past couple of weeks, even though the TV has been moved around quite frequently with the cantilever arm fully extended.So I am well impressed with these fixings and wish I'd come across them sooner - it would have saved me a lot of time and trouble!A couple of points worth bearing in mind, however. Machine screws are used to fasten to the anchor inserts, so there is less tolerance than with conventional wall plugs and woodscrews. The holes for the anchors have to be drilled pretty accurately and perpendicular to the wall, otherwise it can be difficult to engage the screw into the anchor insert, with a risk of 'cross-threading' and stripping the thread (it should screw in easily - if you have to use any force, it's probably cross-threaded). This could be more of a problem if fastening through thicker material (for which a longer screw may also be required).Also, the supplied machine screws have a relatively small head, so washers are likely to be necessary if attaching a bracket with large screw-holes (as in my case). I'm surprised that suitable washers are not supplied with the anchors. Alternatively, short M6 threaded 'roofing bolts' or similar screws (with larger domed heads) could be used instead of the supplied screws. ### ⭐⭐ 2.0 out of 5 stars Small % rusty and poor thread quality *by M***M on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 4 August 2023* These can work really well but there were two major issues. The thread on main screws are unfortunately not as high quality as get chewed up quickly so a small number were wasted. The second is more problematic as some of the screws were very visibly rusty and wouldn't screw out or in. Yet to put the TV on the wall but they seem a very solid product that appears to be heavy duty and certainly looks more than capable of doing the required job of finally getting our 47" TV on the wall at last. 6 big plastic raw plugs, 6 very solid looking and feeling metal shafts and 6 1 inch (ish) bolts\screws to fix whatever it is you want to fix to your wall.I did have 2 slight concerns, and that was that there was nothing on the invoice regarding the requited drill bit size. But a quick look on the side of the raw plugs confirms what another member has said to require and that's a 12mm drill bit. It may help some if the required drill bit is mentioned in the product detail.Also as others have said either in this or another length or quantity version the screw\bolt head is to small for some uses (certainly fitting a TV bracket to the wall) and will likely go right through the spaces on a TV wall mounting bracket panel.Of cause this is nothing a handful of cheap washers won't sort but would still have preferred to pay that few pence more to have the washers included as part of the item than have to make an additional trip to go and buy them. Still, all in all they do seem to be the very best product for wall mounting heavy items where you have a plasterboard wall, a cavity and then a breeze block wall.
