## Questions & Answers

**Q: Is this vegetarian?**
A: Most are vegan but ingredients do vary some have tomato puree and paprika added some have star anise , cumin and coriander. Some including the one I use may contain peanuts, nuts and sesame seeds. Obviously important to study the label before using to ensure there are no  medical or allergy considerations.

**Q: What are the ingredients of this?**
A: Red chillies , garlic, olive oil, lemon juice and vinegar ( commonly white vinegar bit sometimes brown). Very versatile and adds a tasty medium kick to almost anything.

**Q: What is the shelf life of this paste in a sealed jar?  I have two jars purchased February 2017, but cannot decipher use by date.**
A: the best before date should be on the bottom of the jar, as for use by date , i cant find one sorry.

**Q: Can anyone tell me their experiences in the amount of Harissa best for 2/3 persons**
A: Depending on how spicy diners like their food for most fish ( salmon and white fish) and meat dishes 2/3 teaspoons is enough in my experience. Personal opinion only of course.
