I particularly like the combined slip-joint, liner-lock design which provides a solid, secure lockup with no blade play or wobble. With a little oil and use, the "walk and talk" has become quite smooth with a satisfying "clunk" when closing or opening. It does take two hands to open and close this knife. However, the blade, which is evenly ground on both sides, has a deep nail nick which is easy to use. Also, on mine at least, it can be pinched open. There is no half stop but the knife feels easy and safe to handle.
