Personally I go through tons of it - the only modelling paste I use now. Brilliant stuff. Smells divine too. Takes a while to dry hard - but stays in place while you are modelling and gives you time to change a model or rearrange it on a cake. **Q: How long does the paste take to fully set once you have made your figure?** A: It depends on your environment I live near London and my house is quite warm and dry. It also depends on the size of your figures. A good rule of thumb is to make your figures 1-2 weeks before you need them and store in a cardboard box with a layer of baking parchment for them to sit on - don’t make the lid airtight as the figure needs air to firm up **Q: Is this something i can use to decorate the base of a dummy cake? my son wants a 2 levels cake, but the 1st level i'll make a dummy cake. thanks** A: No the modelling paste is for making objects etc. to place on an ice cake. You need fondant icing to cover your dummy cake and to make sure I would use dowels in the dummy cake to make sure it takes the weight of the cake been placed on top so that it does not collapse, unless your dummy cake is made out of something solid. **Q: What is the colour?
