We had a Russel Hobs immersion blender before this which lasted about 4 years with real light usage, never felt particularly great quality, this Braun animal is in a completely different league. The little chopper container accessory is really useful, blitzes onions down in seconds, use at half speed and you get a nice fine chop. Whisk is good and potato masher is handy. This is a bit pricey for what it is but it is worth every penny. Our regular counter top blender hasn't been out of the cupboard since we got this, it feels more powerful, convenient and super easy to clean. Proper bit of kit, haven't scratched the surface yet of what it can do. So much is great about this machine, from the electronic interlock to stop accidental activation to the zero splash blitzing attachment. Yes it is expensive but you get what you pay for. It looks like it is built to last years, it has oodles of power to blitz whatever comes its way, oh and it looks fantastic. No wonder it was used throughout the 2019 series of the GBBO.
