Seriously though, just email or call us if you have any questions. **Q: I have a deep matures will this still work? my matures and box spring together are about 19in the mattress alone is a little over 10in.** A: yea it slides between the mattress and box spring. It will still work but wont be level with your mattress top. Mine is not level either and works great for my phone and charger. **Q: Mine just arrived with two small strips of black sandpaper. Does anyone know what these are for?** A: Please go to the instructions page on the Urban Shelf website. Two 4" x 1" grip tape strips are included with any new stock sent to Amazon fulfillment centers after mid December. The grip tape strips will be included in all Urban Shelves moving forward, as once applied (to the BOTTOM flap, the part that goes between your mattress and box spring or bed frame) they increase stability/performance and prevent slide outs under load. They are located inside your shelf when you open up the flaps. If you want to use them, just peel the backing and stick as shown. We found the outer locations pictured on the site to be the most effective. Keep the one side flush with the hinge. Do NOT place the strips on the top shelf where your gadgets might lie as they are very aggressive and abrasive. Make sure to keep your shelf close to the headboard as well to decrease bouncing when moving around in bed. Supplied grip tape is made in Illinois USA and a staple among skateboard enthusiasts. **Q: Will it hold a fan & small lamp?** A: Likely no. Unless you have a island or bunk bed that help support the middle section of the shelf. It is really designed for small stuff like a phone and holding the charger cord,...
