The indicator light looks cool and also lets you know by changing to the colour you have chosen when it's pumping, then reverts back to the standby colour(again, whatever colour you have chosen) once the set time(5 seconds for me) has passed, there's plenty of different colours to chose from, your choice, I set mine as Blue on standby and Green on pump also the light is nice and bright so it will light your bike up a little where it faces. The reservoir tube is more than long enough for any bike as I had to cut mine down slightly as it was slightly to long! The reservoir and final oil drip tube come full of oil so it doesn't take long to prime the pump at all. The oil used is sort of tacky and sticks to the chain very well so you shouldn't need to deliver to much at a time, 5 seconds seems to be the norm for general road use. I thoroughly cleaned my chain before installing the Cameleon and let it dry off, I then greased both the outer sides of the chain to stop the surface rust bedding in as the oiler is only designed to oil the main centre runners and sprockets, but this is the case for most automatic oilers. I used to have the Scottoiler and I did exactly the same with the chain and it just looks cleaner and lasts for months and months.
