They are smaller than any I have seen before but this was an ideal finger buffet size. I only used one layer, but had 4 different flavours. Slightly fiddly to fill due to the size but we were rushing last minute. I could never have made anything as professional looking. They tasted great, even after a couple of days (There's always too much food at parties!) and the reasonable 'use by' date means I can save the other layer for another day. I'm not sure if I read they could be frozen, but I'm sure they could. These could be sweet or savoury. I filled them with cold fillings such as smoked salmon with cream cheese and dill, pate and cranberry sauce, roast beef and horseradish, blue cheese and walnuts etc. It works really well. I also used them warm so filled them with mushrooms and garlic with a little grated cheese, ham and white sauce, mozzarella and tomato.. and then just popped them in the oven for a few minutes.
