The filters seem to have changed from the original ones that first came with the pitcher. The design and quality are good, it's just that the water now comes out faster like a steady stream instead of just a slow drip. No change to the water taste as it still taste refreshing. I see that there are other brands of filter replacements for this that are less expensive, but none of them claim to reduce micro plastics which was the main reason why I got this brand filter.
