**Q: How does this hook into a short ponytail?**
A: It is on a circular mesh with an elastic cord. You make your ponytail into a bun, put the mesh over it and pull the cord to tighten it. The cord is the same color as the hair and ends up under the hair so it doesn't show. Stays in place nicely with no pins.

**Q: Can this be used with short hair - and no ponytail?**
A: If hour hair is long enough, you can pin it in.
