Store in a protective case or not as good but works nearly as well: I lined my silverware drawer with Pacific cloth. Using silver regularly and washing with hot soapy water cuts down on the polishing. I only polish my flatware about twice a year. But again this is my personal technique. However, I would not leave any residue from the polish on the silver. **Q: Do know if this will bring up a Nickle plated antique stove ??** A: Yes, Hagerty silver polish works on any sterling silver, including jewelry. **Q: Will this remove the blackened patina from my antique silver?** A: I accidentally spilled bleach on my Tiffany silver bracelet which immediately turned black.
