Review: Works great if your MB and case have new type of USB C MB connector and 3" front knockout. - Just what I needed. Building a new computer for wife to hopefully be good for years. The MB had a new type USB C port The case had no usb C port but does have 3" front panel knockout. This gives me two more type A usb3 and added two USB C 3 ports on front. As bonus, system will boot from these extra ports, unlike PCI added ports on my computer. It was a pain getting the unit physically attached but that had more to do with the case not having easy access to retaining screws. Still not as bad as the finger cutting setups of the early 2000's.

Just what I needed. Building a new computer for wife to hopefully be good for years. The MB had a new type USB C port The case had no usb C port but does have 3" front panel knockout. This gives me two more type A usb3 and added two USB C 3 ports on front. As bonus, system will boot from these extra ports, unlike PCI added ports on my computer. It was a pain getting the unit physically attached but that had more to do with the case not having easy access to retaining screws. Still not as bad as the finger cutting setups of the early 2000's.
