If you've ever taken the scales off of a folding knife before you should be fine, just use your existing scales as a guide. This comes with everything you need. and keep in mind that you will not reuse a couple (2) factory screws. If you have more than that left over double check your work. Also keep in mind you will also also be installing (included) spacers which the factory plastic scales didn't use.
