It doesn't say it was made there, but I assume so. It's OK.... I bought it for a recipe and haven't used much of the rather large bag. Lasts a long time, thouhh. **Q: Can you freeze it?** A: I don't think so. It is fermented. That would destroy any probiotic benefit. Also it should not be put in as a soup base boiling, only simmering. It refrigerates for a long time.
