Product description Fully compatible with Pico2 Pico robot is a compact and cost-effective educational programmable 2WD smart car. It is based on Raspberry Pi Pico2, and uses the MicroPython as programming language, combined with on-board sensors, many interesting functions are realized. This robot possess an infrared receiver and a BT module, so the user can remotely control it through the infrared remote control or mobile phone APP. We reserve the servo interface, IIC interface, and common pins on the expansion board, which is convenient for users to expand more functions. In addition, we will provide a large number of tutorials and source codes. All in all, this is a good platform for programming beginners, programming education institutions or primary education. Small size, reasonable layout, high cost performance A large number of on-board resources: tracking sensor, ultrasonic, light sensor, sound sensor, buzzer, BT module, OLED display, infrared receiver. Review: Cool little robot, if you can get it working - I ordered this robot for two reasons; 1- I wanted to learn a little bit more concerning programming Raspberry pi's and 2- I thought it may be an interesting project for teaching programming to students. Putting this together was only a challenge because I don't feel that the directions are the clearest. The diagrams make it slightly difficult to put it together. Also, while I have it together, I can't get it to work. I guess you have to download some things from online to not only update the firmware, but also to get it working. Or at least that's what I'm guessing since I can't seem to get it to move. I thought maybe if I just used the app I could at least get it rolling around my desk or the floor. That doesn't seem to work either. And my phone says that it's connected too. I must be doing something wrong. But if I'm having an issue, then I can guarantee that a student would. I'm also nervous about downloading an app that I'm unfamiliar with. OR, downloading software from a location like a Google Drive or GitHub. The latter is blocked at my place of work anyway, so that also complicates things. You would think that you could just download the needed software straight from their website. But that's not the case. I'll keep playing around with this and try to get it working, but at this point, I don't think I would recommend it be used with students.
