It glides easily onto the lips and is not very 'gritty' to start with, but as it gets lower down the product the 'grittiness' becomes more abrasive. It is sweet to taste and wears down quickly if used on a regular basis (daily). Leaves the lips smoother and tingly which wears off after a few minutes.
