That being said, this book offers sound advice for everyday living. There is a lot of great advice, most you probably know or should now but may have forgotten. It is a mix of a Clark Howard type approach and Dave Ramsey approach. I feel that I am a very astute consume, and although most advice I already know, it reminded me why I do what I do and DID provide new hints and tips. For example, I didn't know that I could pull, for free, my claims history across insurers, which is what they view when offing you insurance rates. Overall a great book of sound, easy to understand advice for 99% of consumers. Of course you can't just read the book you must implement the ideas.
