The film has a brilliant story about a stranger called Joe Kidd who arrives in a New Mexican Town of Sinola where Luis Chama has organized a revolt against the local landowners who are throwing the poor off land that's rightfully theirs. However when a posse supported by Landowner Frank Harlan is formed to capture Luis, Kidd is invited to join but prefers to remain neutral. The posse capture five mexican hostages and threaten to kill them unless Luis surrenders to them. Kidd later on betrays the posse and saves the Mexican hostages afterwards kidd captures Luis and delivers him to the sheriff. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Deacon Mike *by R***E on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 🇬🇧 on 21 September 2012* One of the less well known Westerns staring Clint Eastwood but well worth watching. Clint Eastwood stars as a bounty hunter, Joe Kidd, who is hired by a wealthy landowner, Frank Harlan (played by Robert Duvall), to track down a Mexican freedom fighter. But, in typical Clint Eastwood fashion, Joe Kidd has his own ideas about the outcome of the chase.
