The KARMAT Horizontal PVC Check Valve is a 160mm flanged backwater valve designed to prevent sewage and stormwater backflow in lower floor rooms. Made from chemical- and heat-resistant PVC, it features an automatic, power-free operation with a rodent-proof seal and smooth interior to ensure reliable, maintenance-friendly flood protection.

## Description

Karmat Backwater Valves (Check Valves) effectively ensure chambers located on the lower floors against flooding caused by backflow of stormwater and sewage. Return flow can be caused by heavy rain, thaw or flooding. The use of anti-flood devices for rooms located on the lower floors is required by mandatory regulations related to technical conditions that must be met by building codes. The shape of the seal guard and guard has been designed to protect against damage to the trim by rodents and by slipping during sewage flow.
