A perfect way to help children (including their parents) express the negative feelings without harming others. So many times we are taught to supress these feelings. Coleen gives us a solution in a  fun little story but that fun little story teaches and expresses big ideas.

This book does a masterful job of helping children understand that it is actually desirable to find a way to express your emotions. By finding a punching bag, a place to just yell, or do what ever is needed to release this energy, one puts him or her self back on the path to calmness and better understands why they were mad in the first place.
