I am using it along an esp8266 wemos mini so it add presence capabilities to my home assistant setup. I created 2 automations, one to turn the living room lights on when I enter to my home, and other to turn them off later in case the dogs trigger it by accident. Planning on adding another to tell me if somebody enters the home while I am not on site, it's almost a custom alarm system for just a few dollars.
