The clarity is the first thing that stands out. You hear everything. Not just the obvious parts of a mix, but the subtle details like background noise, room tone, and small imperfections that regular speakers completely hide. The sound is very honest. They do not hype the bass or smooth things over. At first that can feel a little unforgiving, but that is exactly what you want from studio monitors. If something sounds good on these, it will translate well everywhere else. Build quality feels solid and professional. They look clean and simple, and they do not take up much space on a desk. Once positioned properly at ear level, the stereo image is excellent. It really does create that illusion that the sound is coming directly from the screen. These are not party speakers and they are not meant to be. They are tools. For voiceover work, editing, and critical listening, they are outstanding.
