Review: They do a good job - I bought this for my 80 gallon twin cylinder two stage air compressor with 5 hp motor. It’s getting older and I decided to let the moisture out the easy way. These work great! Every set period of time (variable) the solenoid activates and drains moisture out of the tank. This cleans the air for outside use and prevents rust inside the tank. I recommend these units.

### ⭐ Avoid!!! absolutely zero quality control.

​I would give this less than one star if I could. This item had my compressor running nonstop for hours to the point that it is now leaking oil everywhere. Why? Because there were absolutely zero internal components inside the solenoid. It didn’t matter what the frequency or duration was set to, a valve can't do anything with no parts inside. I guess it's my fault for trusting a brand new part and not testing it before leaving for the night, but it was late and the compressor timer was already off. I didn't realize this company has absolutely zero quality control. Furthermore, they clearly know nothing about pipe fittings. They mixed straight pipe threads with tapered threads on the hose, ball valve, and adapters. If you are unfortunate enough like me to have purchased this thing, you're going to have to make a run to the hardware store to properly install it without any leaks. Although I'd highly suggest just returning the thing and buying a better one from a better company, it will be cheaper and less hassle in the long run. As for the braided hose, just toss it. I wouldn't trust it under pressure, hell, I'd barely trust it as a drain. Stay far away from this cheap garbage.
