IMO just not loud enough for me. I also own the Jam speaker and it had a higher volume than this item. The speaker is well made and paired well with my Note 3 it just wasn't loud. I sold it the next day to a co-worker so he could use it in his car. He loves it. He said it is extremely loud. Maybe I'm just deaf now after 25 years of blasting music in my ears or maybe it works better in smaller areas (I was using it in a small kitchen-he plays it in his car). I think if you enjoy music and are in a small area, this is a great choice. It's sturdy, pairs well and does have nice volume. I just wanted something that is portable and LOUD. Great value at a low-low price. I keep it in a small compartment in the bottom of my dashboard, always plugged in via a USB/Cigarette Lighter power. So far no problems keeping it connected to my Android phone. Only complaint: there's no bass; it's all treble. This speaker is easy to use and durable, because I dropped it, oops. They work fine even with the abuse. The sound is very clear and also have a little passive radiator in the middle of the two main drivers. I got about nine hours so far. The rectangle is loud for its size so no need to turn it up all the way. I would like to try there other product based on the quality of this speaker.
