Heal Your Face Review: Heal more than your face - I admit I bought this book totally for vanity purposes. I turned 50 and I wanted to figure out how to reduce the wrinkles, and dark circles, that make me look more like 60. I was in for a pleasant surprise, as this book was way more than I expected. First, it was very well written. I liked the author's voice, as I felt he was speaking directly to me, and giving me alot of information without speaking down to me. He was both informative and interesting. He really delved into each of our internal organs, and how they connect to what is happening on our face. As luck would have it, or unluck, I was passing a kidney stone at the same time I was reading this book. I gained an entirely new perspective on my kidney, how kidney stones are made, how to get rid of them, and how not to get them in the future - and that was just one chapter. This was truly a fascinating book that I couldn't put down. I like the pictures of a face, and how each wrinkle placement shows were in the body you are blocked - kidney, lungs, liver, etc. I plan on following his advice, and expect to start looking younger right away. I also just went in and purchased one of his previous books. Great author, great info..... Review: It is amazing to see how everything in the body is connected. :) - This book will make you look at your face/everyone around you in a completely different way and give you some insight about what might be going on inside of you. Heal your Face book will tell you what each sign (whether it be wrinkles, moles, etc.) is indicating but doesn't really give very detailed plans written out blatantly-- step 1, step 2, step 3, etc. At first I was a little disappointed about this, but he has another book, Heal Your Life 101 that goes more into detail. For me, Heal your Face book has mainly been for diagnosing. I read through the book and documented everything that I related with and then watched for recurring themes. In this book you will see A LOT of "signs" you more than likely weren't thinking about. If you are like me you'll be like "I have that...I have a friend that has that..". After doing an enormous amount of studying when it comes to all of the holistic healing stuff and what I didn't realize at first/ what others may not realize is that the hollistic path normally involves a huge life style/ dietary change. (it is much more extensive than one herb to take.) This is in comparison to what western medicine would recommend--that is, fixing the surface problem with a simple medication or cream to take. It would be nice if he were to include more detailed instructions but I can understand that if he were to write out what to do for each thing the book would be massively big. All Markus' books are good and very motivating. I like his spontanious and natural way of writing, as if he was there talking to you in person. I bought the kindle version, feel it could be cheeper though, but I consider buying the paperback to give as a present to my daughter :-) Markus' final words in the book are: What you see now in the mirror is the greatest gift you have in this life.
