After 57 years of marriage, my father passed away a few months ago and my mother's grief has been tremendous. I've introduced her to the Medicine Cards and The Sacred Tree teachings. WOW, talk about a powerful set of tools to help her cope with the loss and find a new outlook on life. She was previously borderline suicidal without Dad and now, I can literally see the peacefulness on her face that the Native American spiritual practice and teachings of the medicine wheel are bringing to her, slowly but surely. This in itself is worth more than anything else in the world to me. No matter what your background, I strongly recommend you check out this book.
