They brighten up the rooms perfectly. It let's the perfect amount of sun in, and you can not see in through them. Material is nice and I wash them in my washing machine and hang to dry. These curtains are beautiful. Nice, soft, airy look, but they really cut down on the blinding light and sweltering heat from the setting sun in the evenings. They are not blackout curtains, so don't buy if you want to completely block out the sunlight. But they do a great job of diffusing the light, my living room now stays MUCH cooler and my retinas aren't burning anymore! Haha They look great, too. They arrived a little wrinkled from transport, but I hung them up and the wrinkles went away on their own within a day. Another bonus is they don't seem to attract dust at all! I've had them for a few months now and I haven't had to clean them yet. They still look brand new! They look more expensive than they are, and I get lots of compliments from visitors. The reason for my three stars, I found both curtains although was sold and packed individually had what appears to be some type of food stain on it at the bottom of the curtains. I was very disappointed by the stain on the first curtain. When I opened the second curtain and found a similar stain on that one as well, I am downright pisst off. This is unacceptable, especially since these curtains cost me $25 per panel.
