No distortion. Touch is as good. *by J***T on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 24 September 2019* This is a beautiful fit on my iPhone 6. The instructions could be a bit more comprehensive but watching a few videos will help. I am very pleased. It is hardly detectable. It doesn't cover the curved edge of the phone screen itself as it would be impossible to fit but it covers all the flat part. The edge of the protector is smooth and its curve helps it blend into the phone. Hints for successful application: Do not wear fluffy jumper. Clean desk. Wash hands. Use a desk light. Remove phone from case. Practise lining up protector with backing on so you know exactly what margins you have; perfect the movement and alignment. Sit so you are looking directly down onto the the phone screen. The backing for this protector is quite thick and stiff so using hinge method will not work. Clean all of the phone with ordinary or spare wipe. Dry phone. Leave a few minutes. Pour a bit of vodka into a small glass and clean fingertips. Use the included special wipe on phone screen. Dry - best cloths are those silky microfibre cloths for glasses. Use dry cloth on all sides of protector (with backing on) to make sure there are no bits on it. Use dust sticker on phone screen. Repeat wipe, dry and sticker if necessary. Place phone and protector on clean dust free area. You should have how it lines up pictured exactly in your mind. Make all movements smooth and slow. Remove backing. Although the backing removal tab is at the top I found it easier to line up with the home button. Position yourself and screen protector directly above the phone and approach the phone slowly holding the protector by the corners, check top cut outs as you lower gently until you are only a few mm from the surface. Position over home button until you make contact, keep checking as you lower on to remainder of the screen. If you work slowly there won't be much air under it so no bubbles. Smooth down. Let it settle for some hours before putting back in case. Drink the bit of vodka. Simple to install, not a single bubble or hint of dust. Clear as - if not clearer than - the original screen on the phone which I've just replaced at the same time due to damage. Touch is unaffected and works exactly as expected. The fit is great and I really like the look of it when it's installed. The coating seems very oil repellant which I'm happy about.
