Many thanks** A: 7 centimetres across on inside of the globe opening and 8 cm on the outside. **Q: Am I only getting the structure as I see it or the components for bulb holder as well?** A: You get the ceiling plate which has an outside thread and bulb holder attached to which the glass globe screws onto with its internal thread. I have 2 and they are bright .
