Allowing you to focus on you work as most importantly the saw blade. With this you won’t have to worry about falling wood you can then turn off the saw and make sure everything is safe. This would be a great addition to a planer, table saw, chop saw, or miter saw. As for the quality it’s not the very best, but it works and it works well. It’s extremely easy to adjust and reach level with whatever tool you are using it with. I saw a few post about the handle breaking and being a weak point of this product. I think that design has been fixed. The red handle to adjust height seems to be one of the strongest aspects of this. Finally it stores great. For those of you who have a small wood shop like me (two car garage), this folds up a d stores away. I would buy again. The molded part around the bolt head stripped clean on the second time I adjusted the height. I used a multi tool to cut the plastic handle off — you can see where the bolt head stripped on the inside. I have been using some vise grips as the handle. Also, there is another review complaining about bolts being too short... the reviewer had the picture going the wrong way. My set of instructions were correct and showed the bolt going through the foot in the opposite direction.
