I tried them all out! Every last one of them. They all performed outstandingly... I will admit I did have my doubts if they would be sharp but they are and that makes me happy with them. I got them specifically for tearing out embroidery boo-boos. I got one with some floss and it is as dull as it can be and was terrible trying to use it. It is going somewhere dark and lonely and being replaced by one of these..., hmm which color will it be?! that gets to work it's little blade to death... LOL I will also put at least one in my sewing kit too. You always need a seam ripper when you are sewing, it never fails. I am glad that I got them! They were worth the price. I also got them so that I can share them with some little cousins that I plan on teaching to embroider. I will let them pick out their own color. If I am going to get them started, then they need to have something that is going to work! Oh and for all those wherever the reviews were, that complained because they could hardly hold on to them?! That would be the little ones, well try putting the cap on the bottom that makes it much easier to use.
