However on my bike frame Mongoose Dolomite, the clamping block and torque arm did not clear my rear derailleur. It was very close, though. My solution was to grind several MM of material off my inexpensive rear derailleur. No Big Deal with a 15$ Shimano Acera... But of course, If I had a more expensive derailleur- grinding it might not be a great solution. Be sure to test fit everything and get the angle right before you hammer the splined pieces together! When assembled, that part is not easy to disassemble. Follow the instructions and watch the videos bcause its Important to install correctly!!
