**Q: This would be for pharmacy use. Is the blade a "thicky" or a "thiny"?  I want a thin one, not universally wide throughout to the end.**
A: I whipped out my ruler and checked. They are 1/2" right at the handle and then angle out quickly to 3/4" for the rest of the blade. The thickness of the metal (which I would consider thin, but sturdy) is the same from handle to tip.  I love these and have 5 of them. I have 6-year-old grand-twins and we've used them several years for icing, peanut butter on crackers, and all kinds of stuff ... and they still look brand new. They are great quality, wooden handle and nice durable thin blade.

**Q: What is the actual size of the whole instrument?**
A: Actual I got two one is 71/2 in. long and the other is 10 and I like them both.

**Q: Does this have a serated edge for cutung sandwiches?**
A: No. Both edges are smooth. It’s a small spatula.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A basic utensil needed in every kitchen.

I lost a bunch of my kitchen tools and gadgets in a move this year. My spatulas were in that group. I thought that I'd have no problem finding replacements in a local store. I was SO wrong. I couldn't find one of these or the flat 6" ones anywhere. So, I ordered this. For all my years of life, one of these has been in my kitchen. I am really happy that I got this as a replacement. It has a good weight and feel with the appropriate balance of stiffness to flexibility. I'll use a knife from my tableware set often enough. But there are times when this is the one thing that you REALLY need for spreading. Y'know, this is one of the simplest things and yet I can't express how comforting it is to have it ready in my drawer. I realize that this may seem silly to some. So, partly for me it is historical precedent and the other part is having the kitchen properly stocked with the tools you need. The only downside is that the wood stain will run if you leave it to get wet or soaked in the sink after use. Either apply some protective coat or wait for the stain to be slowly washed out over time. It still gets 5 stars from me.
