She would be a good candidate for a professional $2000-3000 hearing aid except for the fact she misplaces, probably discards, things and we've had to regularly replace lost dental fixtures, glasses and other such things for the past few years.I'm amazed at how effective this digital hearing amplifier has been. Unlike the older analog devices of past decades this one can sense and amplify frequencies in the range of the human voice but doesn't pick up and amplify most background noises.
