For the types of exercises you are talking about you might want to use the higher resistance- red color. Another band I have used is the SPRI super heavy band but it is only a single band. Not sure how hard of resistance you are looking for and the set might be a better option. Hope this helps **Q: The instruction booklet said "Remember to check your email for the free ebooks you received with your purchase." Not in my email. How to get them?** A: I don't remember getting such an email and thus did not get a free ebook. Don't know how to get them. **Q: Hello, How should I use this product?** A: Yes.
