It took me about 5 hours to build by myself. The only issue was that the pieces were not labelled therefore it took me much longer to put the pieces together. The instructions are clear, but you really have to pay attention and take your time. The handles were oak but came in different shades of oak, so I gave them a bit of paint and I love the end product very much.
