This has been a firm favourite of hers since she got it. The colours are bright and appealing without it looking like a “tacky” plastic toy. The balls are a good size for little hands, while also being thankfully too big to put in their mouths (at least for my one year old). For a while she just watched while I did it, and then started to push the balls through herself. As she’s got older she’s become more interested in matching the colours of the balls with the slots, and actually how it works, trying to turn it upside down to see what happens. I’ve been really impressed. She’s never been particularly interested in the hammer but perhaps that will come in time. Importantly, it is a very robust toy, and has certainly been play tested to its limits, she has sat on it, stood on it, thrown it… I’ve constantly expected the plastic front to crack and it hasn’t so far with 8 months of constant use. I’d absolutely recommend it. I expect we have a lot of time left with it unlike some other toys that end up being relatively short lived.
