Made with an organic material nest and fully expandable modules, it’s the perfect starter kit for beginners eager to explore and grow their own ant ecosystem. ## Description This system is suitable for keeping ants (not included) with a maximum body size of about 0.7 cm (for example Myrmica rubra or Lasius niger) and offers ideal conditions even for beginners due to its easy handling. The Ant Cube was developed by us to implement a cost effective, but in our view effective terrarium. It was a priority to be able to carry out all important actions with the animals externally and thus without any major disruption or risks, but nevertheless there is an optimal observation potential. All processes such as water supply or sugar watering can be done without much effort from the outside. The nest, which is integrated in the back wall and made of organic material, can also be irrigated or dimmed from outside. The biggest advantage, however, is that you can build the nest closed by the plug system function, so as to allow, for example, the ants better in the hibernation. All other parts are based on this principle (except for a small number of glands) and thus serve the purpose of making an ideal cleaning can. This results above all in a problem-free reuse.
