Sonos is quite expensive, but you're buying not only high-quality audio devices but also the flexibility of being wireless for sound and the interconnectedness of all the Sonos devices. The Sonos app recognizes all of your various devices and makes it easy for them to work together. I finally gave up the idea of a “room full of speakers” home theater after many years. I did lots of research and landed on Sonos based on the Arc Ultra, this sub (x2), and 2 Era 300s. Last night was the first time I watched action movies and I was blown away by the sound. I was enveloped from left to right and from top to bottom. I’ve heard people describe it as 80% of a full home theater, but it was over 90% for me.
