Review: It took me 3 days to figure them out but…… - I’m the worst sleeper! I hated to go to bed at night because knew I would be miserable.I toss and turn all night and my husbands gets super early, and I just wake up with him making me exhausted all day long. I saw ad for sleep earbuds and purchased and returned several pairs from desertcart. I was sleeping in my apple ear pods trying to block out any noise I could but of course that wasn’t working either, they were so uncomfortable for side sleepers. I then reluctantly bought the Ozlo sleep buds and was very taken back by the price. I actually got $50 off.($299) because of a promotion. I figured I would return these as soon as I got them if they were uncomfortable like the previous pairs I purchased. It took me about three nights to get the fit in my ear, and to get them paired and to get them disconnected from the Bluetooth. Some of the annoying things that were happening just takes some patience on how to use them. I did connect with Customer Service and I did not appreciate the long list of things they tried to get me to do with a brand new pair of sleep earbuds that were connected to Bluetooth and up-to-date. However, I will say that for the first time in years, I am now sleeping soundly and not waking up to any noises. I set my alarm now because I have to, or I will sleep right through ‘till 7:30 AM! I am a side sleeper, and every once in a while, I get a tiny bit of discomfort, but most of the time with the sound blocking noises I sleep soundly. I wake up refreshed and in no pain. It has been a relief. I am fearful that they will break and I will be back to square one but so far so good! I will recommend that you are ready to go to sleep at night open the app on your phone, open your Ozlo case, connect the earbuds to your ears close the case go to sleep! In the morning open the app Connect the earbuds back into the Ozlo case make sure they are connected correctly,(the app shows you that they are connected correctly) and shut the case. The Bluetooth will then turn off if you don’t do the steps correctly, it will cause them to not work correctly. This took me three days to figure out sorry :-) but when I do these steps, everything is so nice. I go to sleep, listening to an audiobook, when I fall asleep, the earbuds go to sleep masking sounds automatically, my audiobook, pauses, and I am in a deep sleep until morning for the first time in years! This is a sincere true review, and I am still mad about the price, but I’m grateful for the small size of this noise blocking sleep earbud that actually works.

Then one of my earbuds fell into the toilet during a middle-of-the-night bathroom trip (a loss insurance apparently considers a personal problem), so I commandeered his. Over those two years, Reddit and ChatGPT became my closest allies in the war against Ozlo. I’ve spent so much time troubleshooting these things that I’ve literally had to go on walks to calm down. I once found a secret Ozlo hard-reset webpage after exhausting approximately 30 other solutions. I’ve used it so often that I HAVE IT BOOKMARKED. And connectivity was just the beginning. There were also the little indignities I didn’t even realize I could live without: * The nightly treasure hunt: White earbuds. White bedding. Every morning, a search-and-rescue operation. * The escape artists: Not a single night without one falling out, despite trying every ear tip size. * The charging roulette: Carefully place buds in case. Clean contacts. Double-check placement. Wake up to a dead earbud anyway. * The troubleshooting circus: Smack the case really hard (an art I never mastered). Go downstairs, retrieve a sewing needle, and attempt to press a button apparently designed for ants. Neither ever worked. * The setup experience: An hour of my life I’ll never get back. And I got to do it THREE TIMES. My final connectivity battle involved swapping cases between my two pairs after deducing the earbuds themselves weren’t the problem. It worked! I was a genius! Updated: The earbuds continued to be very glitchy but customer service worked with me and replaced them. The new earbuds are perfect!! Everything I want them to be. They stay in my ears, play my audio book for the amount of time I dictate, then switch to sleep sounds. I now can rollover, change positions, even get up to use the toilet and they stay connected. These work better than my air pods for listening to a book while my husband listens to a game while driving. They are exactly what I need. And the customer service is fantastic. They worked with me over and over until they got the issues resolved with a replacement. They even sent them across the country to a different address since I was traveling at the time. Highly recommend. I was so frustrated with these ear buds when I first got them. They wouldn’t stay connected. I had to lay in one spot, not even lift my arm to keep them streaming my audible book. I tried everything in the video help guides, or so I thought. Then I reached out to customer support through the ear buds app. They responded very quickly and asked me to try all the things again. In addition they reminded me not to have my phone touching or too near the Ozlo case. Bingo!! That was the issue. Once I moved the case 8 to 10 inches away from my phone everything worked much better. They still, very occasionally cut out but will come back quickly. I can live with that. These are the perfect solution for me and I am sleeping so much better because of them. I set the Ozlo timer for 45 mins for my audible book. I can toss and turn all I want and the book continues to play. (The ear buds are more comfortable for side sleeping than anything else I have tried.). Then at 45 mins the buds switch to the sleep sounds. The buds do not totally block out all external noises but between the buds and the sleep sounds I don’t hear my husband snoring and apparently am able to sleep through him moving around our bedroom. They are a huge benefit for sleeping in the close quarters of our small RV. I have reached out to customer service a couple of times and each time they have responded witching 24hrs.
