If u turn off vehicle or are away from cell range u will have to re syb"e Every TIME. **Q: Is it possible to have two of this? One for the front end?** A: No. In fact I don't recommend this camera AT ALL. Unless u have 4 bars on your cell phone to hot spot the camera does not work. Everyone u turn off car or walk away the camera disconnects and u will have to re sync! Unless u live in a11 month out of the year sunny state forget the solar charging. The solar panel if it gets wet will leak and corrupt ability. No customer product support. Basically buyer beware and prepare for waste of money. **Q: is this for british licence plates** A: No. **Q: can it be used without smartphone, and make it just beep like regular parking radar?** A: I don’t know. It works flawlessly, was extremely easy to set up and works every time I park close to something. It works on my iPhone and connects automatically. When I get in my car, if something happens to it, I will surely buy another one. ### ⭐ Review *by S***R on 29 October 2022* I charged it fully as instructed, and then paired it with my android device (Pixel 7, Android version 13). Few observations: 1. If your app is closed i.e. if you opened it, paired it, and then closed it. Then it gets disconnected from the sensor, and will not beep. You must remember to not close it. This is weird. Other apps like Fitbit are able to connect via bluetooth even when closed, so this app *should* be able to connect as well. Probably a bug in the app. 2. If you reboot your device, you must remember to start the app again. If not, it's not gonna beep because the phone won't get connected to the sensor. Again, other apps like Fitbit are able to handle this case. 3. When I went out of range, and then came back, it didn't beep. It had lost the connection. Even after shaking the device (to make sure it's not in standby mode), and waiting for a a minute or so, it didn't beep. I did this experiment again, and it worked fine the second time though. 4. It turns from intermittent beep to constant beep at 2 feet. I would prefer it to do that at 1 feet, so that I can park tightly. This is just my personal preference though, and not a real issue with the product. The intermittency between the beeps changed at the expected distances as per the manual. Slow beeps at 4 feet, changes to medium beep at 3 feet, and then to constant sound at 2 feet and closer. Because of the connection issues with the app, I am going to return it. I really loved the idea of it: solar powered, no wires, no need of additional screens, just use your phone.
