There are some advantages and drawbacks over Expo dry-erase makers. The main advantage is, of course, that after drying, the ink doesn't smear. Used with WipeBooks or dry-erase boards, whatever is written, will remain readable long-term. Another advantage is that the included eraser works well - better than normal dry-erase erasers - the friction is just right and it can be used even while "dirty" with many previous erasures.
